Year 1
Hello Year 1,
We hope you are still having lots of fun at home and enjoyed the ideas for last week. Miss Russell has been very impressed by the things you have talked about and shown during your zoom calls.
This week is the last full week of term so the learning ideas are focused on reflecting on all the super learning you have done throughout the year. What was your favourite piece of learning for the year? We found it really difficult to decide. What a lot we have achieved!
Don’t forget the Summer Reading Challenge. Log on and get reading.
Remember to keep doing a variety of activities
- Talking and listening
- Reading to yourself and asking others to read to you
- Work on paper (a little bit of writing daily would be helpful)
- Work on the computer
- Work outside
- Exercise
- Something to make your family smile.
Look after yourselves, stay safe, be kind to your family and we will see you soon.
Don’t forget to let us know what you have been doing. Email year1@whitegroveprimary.co.uk
Missing you lots
Keep smiling

Oracy is a really important part of our school curriculum so we thought it might be nice to give you some ideas to discuss with your family. Each week we will give an idea on the "All year groups" page, here. Take a look, have a discussion and then why not share your thoughts via Twitter, @WhitegrovePS, or on Facebook.
