Year 2
Dear Year 2,
This is the last full week of school and the last week of home learning for Year 2. The teachers have been reflecting on all the wonderful times we have shared together both in school and during lockdown. We hope you have had a chance to read your reports with your parents and talk about all the progress you have made. Hopefully this week's learning will allow you to practise some of the skills you have learnt in Year 2 and you will have a chance to think about everything you have achieved.
Please remember that these ideas are just suggestions. You do not have to complete them all. Choose the activities that suit you and your family, or try something completely different!
We can't wait to see you for our final Zoom calls. This time we will be wearing our favourite clothes and bringing a snack to eat during our 'party'. We will have lots of fun together as we celebrate the year and say goodbye for the summer.
We would still love to see any learning you do and anything else you would like to share through our special Year 2 email: year2@whitegroveprimary.co.uk. Parents, you can email us if you have any questions before the summer holidays.
Stay safe and well, and have fun.
The Year 2 team

Oracy is a really important part of our school curriculum so we thought it might be nice to give you some ideas to discuss with your family. Each week we will give an idea on the "All year groups" page, here. Take a look, have a discussion and then why not share your thoughts via Twitter, @WhitegrovePS, or on Facebook.
