Our Core Hours

Our core hours are 9:00am for morning registration to 3:30pm for home time.

The school gates open at 8:50am, giving children time to enter the school site, make their way to their classrooms and be ready for morning registration at 9:00am. The gates close promptly at 9:00am.

Learning begins straight away, so punctuality is very important. In EYFS and Key Stage 1, for example, the first lesson of the day is Phonics, meaning that arriving late can result in children missing an important part of their learning.

At the end of the school day, the gates open at 3:25pm and children are dismissed by their teachers from 3:30pm.

To help keep arrival and collection times safe and orderly, we operate a one-way system across the school site. Parents and carers should enter via the North Gate, leading to the Key Stage 2 playground, and leave via the South Gate, located on the Key Stage 1 playground.

MORNING
09:00 - Registration and lessons begin
9:10 Assembly (some days)

Mid-morning break is usually 10:30 but may vary depending on each year group's timetable

LUNCH
12:00 - Lunch sitting one
12:30 - Lunch sitting two

AFTERNOON
13:00 - Registration
13:15 - Assembly (some days)
15:25 - Gates open
15:30 - Home time

15:35 - Gates close
16:30 - Gates reopen for collection from after school clubs
